  • Run to Feed, a co-organized event by Tai Kooli and Heifer China

    Run to Feed took place in Chengdu Tai Kooli on 25 June. The fundraising event with sports theme attracted more than 100 participants. They were assigned with tasks to run all over Tai Kooli, and they did the charity run for Heifer. TaiKooli gave matching gift of RMB 200 for each participant. All the donation would go to Heifer project in Kashgar.

  • Breeding Dzo for a Better Life in Qinghai Province

    In June 2015, Heifer China implemented the second phase of the Livestock Development Program project in Xunhua County, Qinghai Province. About $282,000 worth of (6000 yuan) (about $940) gift funds were distributed to 300 project participants from Ningba, Helongbao, Xichong, Kema, Wuman, Tiegaleng villages in Daowei Township, Xunhua County. Each participant received about $940 (6000 yuan) to develop a dzo—a cattle-yak hybrid—breeding industry.
